Join George Barnett for a 2.5-hour walk in the woods this December, just a day prior to the winter solstice. During this class George will discuss various topics such as winter tree and herbaceous plant ID, seasonal wild foods, as well as late autumn-early winter woodland ecology of plants and animals.
*This class is limited to 12 people
When:
Sunday December 20th, 2026
This class will be starting at 9:00am and ending at 11:30am. If you end up having to depart earlier for whatever reason, please make me aware before you leave our group.
Location:

(Class address details will be emailed to registrants approximately 3-weeks prior to the event date).
What to bring:
Water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, layered clothing, a notebook & pen, camera, an open mind with a strong interest to learn and ask questions while in a group setting.
Cancellations:
A 30 day advanced noticed for all cancellations is required for a 50% refund. If you cancel within 30 days you will lose out on 100% of your refund. Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined only when the safety of the attendees are at risk. In these cases, deposits will be refunded or held to reserve rescheduled date(s).
