Join George Barnett for a 2.5-hour walk in the woods this October. While under the glowing fall canopy of hickories, black walnuts, and oaks, George will identify and discuss several wild edible foods available during the autumn months. In addition to discussing wild foods, he will also cover some natural history and ecological systems that take place during the autumn season.

When:
Sunday October 18th, 2026
This class will be starting at 9:00am and ending at 11:30am. If you end up having to depart earlier for whatever reason, please make me aware before you leave our group.

What to bring:
Water bottle, comfortable walking shoes, a notebook & pen, camera, an open mind with a strong interest to learn and ask questions while in a group setting.
Cancellations:
A 30 day advanced noticed for all cancellations is required for a 50% refund. If you cancel within 30 days you will lose out on 100% of your refund. Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined only when the safety of the attendees are at risk. In these cases, deposits will be refunded or held to reserve rescheduled date(s).
